Hi folks,
Running Debian wheezy with a doubletalk PC card.
Occasionally keystroke echo speaks individual letters twice as I type.
Everything else is proper, nothing else is doubled.
Turning speakup off and on again does not resolve the problem. Neither does
killing speakup with the "pause" key.
Reboot does fix it.
Anythoughts?
Thanks

I too am using a doubletalk pc running debian wheezy, and don't recall
running into such a problem. Can you provide a set of steps to
reproduce the issue?

greg,
Unfortunately it's only happened a couple of times and I believe it started
in the editor I use "JOE" but continued in mutt and back at the command
prompt.

However I can't be sure at what point it began or if the start was
consistant in the two or three times it happened.

Not much to go on Will try to observe more closely.
thanks
